1. Patience - Patience is a virtue, not a hassle. When we lose our patience, we lose our control. You (yes, myself) need to speak softer, gentler and calmer and learn to be relaxed and understanding to others’ opinions.
2. Give a helping hand. If someone is being unco-operative, you must increase my co-operation. Also, it makes you feel good when you help someone, so you must remind yourself to volunteer out my skills more.
3. Less worries lightens burdens. You are starting to wonder if smiling and happiness have now become illegal right? God, the Father of all mankind, is there to help, to guide, to wash the dirty linen of the soul. Be peaceful myself, as peace is the foundation of happiness.
4. Stay modest and humble for the rest of your life. Society struts around bragging, boasting, becoming extravagant and arrogant. “We have missed the find subtlety and essence of greatness, for in spite of our several achievements etc, our nobility and greatness lies in our modesty, sobriety and humility.” (Just a moment - Raja Yoga Centre)
5. Think before you act. Don’t ever jump to conclusions or be judgemental.
6. Weak minds bear negative thoughts. Instead of commanding yourself not to get angry, it is better to think that you must remain calm.
7. Life’s troubles are put out in front of you to make you stronger. Overcome the hardships and learn and improve from them. Do not waste your time to dwell on the past. Look to expand your future.
8. Look for the virtues in others. Don’t point a finger of scorn at others if you yourself are to blame.
9. The music of life. Like musical tones, people are all different. Be adapting myself.
10. Look for good sources of energy. Like riding the bike, walking (I do not use the term ‘exercise’. Society does not need to ‘exercise’ per se, they just need to go about their lives doing healthy things themselves - not relying on mechanical technology for transportation, or adopting unhealthy eating habits, or thinking negative thoughts), talking to happy people, reading books and articles, smiling.
11. Never ever lose your thirst for knowledge. Knowledge is power, in every sense of the word. Knowledge gets you places, gets you what you want, and is fun :) READ MORE PLEASE.
12. Count your blessings while you can. Be grateful for the healthy body, soul and mind that has been graciously sent down to you. Be thankful.
13. Gossip is poisonous. Stay away ok?
14. Set goals and aim for it. Any goal is achievable if you believe it. From this day onwards, I will set goals and stick to them.
15. “The harder the battle, the sweeter the victory.”
16. Don’t ever run away from your problems. Face them. Fix them.
17. Feed your body, but don’t forget about your soul. Be happy and healthy and everything will fall in place.
